I write this with sadenss that long time ASK ESP member and Salem Keizer School District employee, Cristina Coria, passed away this last Saturday, January 21st.

Cristina worked with at risk kids at McKay High School and had a great love for the work she was able to do with the kids at McKay.

Cristina was involved with the priority schools Home Visit Program and she was finding a strong voice in the Union. She recently attended the National Conference for Urban Education and felt strongly regarding minority issues.

Our condolences go to Cristina's family and loved ones. Cristina will truly be missed.
